Custom PT100Temperature Sensor with 4–20mA Output for Motor Preheating – Used by Xponential Technologies S.A.S.

We developed a custom-designed PT100 RTD temperature sensor with DC 24V input and 4–20mA analog output for accurate surface temperature measurement during electric motor preheating.
As shown in the image, the temperature probe is embedded in a thermally conductive copper plate. This structure ensures rapid heat transfer and high sensing precision. The copper housing is further enhanced with strong magnetic mounting, allowing the sensor to firmly attach to the motor surface without displacement—even in vibration-heavy environments.
To minimize heat diffusion and maximize contact accuracy, the copper surface is coated with a layer of high-temperature red thermal adhesive. This design ensures that the sensor captures stable and real-time surface temperatures, reducing measurement error during motor preheating processes.
The temperature signal is transmitted through an integrated transmitter module, which converts the RTD signal to a standard 4–20mA output, compatible with industrial control systems, PLCs, and remote monitoring devices.
This solution was specially delivered to our client Xponential Technologies S.A.S. in Ecuador. After testing various supplier samples, our product was selected for its outstanding stability and accuracy, and we were awarded the bulk order contract over multiple competitors.
